Volume I focuses on assessing children with dual sensory or severe impairments between birth and age 5 including the assessment of a young child’s abilities, needs, and his/her primary environments within the context of interactions with family members and other people familiar to the child. The tools provided in this volume assist in ensuring the assessment process is ongoing and helps measure the effectiveness of the intervention used.
