Target Audience: Parent of children registered on the Ohio Deafblind Census

All parents who have a child with deafblindness, ages birth-22 years, who is registered with the Ohio Center for Deafblind Education are invited to this annual, no-cost weekend. Lodging, meals, and materials are provided. Stipends are available to assist with childcare expenses. You are invited to come and network with other parents during this informative and relaxing weekend.

Dr. Hartshorne is well known for his work and research with children who are deafblind and their families. His areas of interest and investigation include issues related to CHARGE and deafblindness including behavior, sleep, play, anxiety, mindful interventions, and how parents and families cope with a child with severe disabilities.
